ID Card
Consumer Choice PPO participants will receive a combined medical and prescription ID card from Aetna. You will need to present your ID card when you have a short term prescription of 30 days or less filled at a local retail pharmacy. back to top
Mail Order
You are not required to order long-term medications through Aetna Rx home delivery. However, keep in mind that prescriptions filled through this program offer the highest prescription drug savings. back to top
Generic Drugs
Although you are not required to use generic drugs, they typically cost between 30 percent and 75 percent less than brand-name drugs. If your doctor recommends or prescribes a brand-name drug, ask if there is a generic equivalent. back to top
Prescription Drug Costs
As a participant in this plan, you will pay 30 percent of the cost of all drugs up to a maximum of $60 per prescription for a 30-day supply and $150 for a 90-day supply.
