Dental Benefits
Compass Group appreciates the importance of oral health. We offer associates two types of dental coverage, administered by CIGNA, that encourage preventive care.
CIGNA PPO Dental Plan - available in all areas
This plan allows you to visit any licensed dentist in or out of the Preferred Provider network. However, if you use a CIGNA preferred provider:
- Preventive care is covered at 100 percent
- All services are provided at a discounted rate
- Out-of-pocket costs are lower
- A referral to see a specialist is not needed

With this plan you must choose from a network of CIGNA's credentialed dentists. You are covered only for dental services received from the participating dentist selected.
After enrollment, you must contact CIGNA to choose a dentist for each covered family member. If you do not select a dentist within one month of your enrollment date, CIGNA will assign one for you.
Under this plan:
- Preventive care is covered at 100 percent
- There is no deductible to meet and no annual dollar maximum
- Extensive work is provided at an affordable rate and you must be referred to the appropriate specialist
- Each family member can choose his or her own network dentist
