Compass Group makes available a range of other types of coverage for its part-time associates.

Hospital indemnity

This benefit applies if you or a covered dependent are admitted to the hospital as inpatient and includes :

Lump-sum benefits: $1,000 for one stay in the hospital as an inpatient per coverage year

Daily benefit : $100 per day, for up to 100 days that you are an inpatient in a hospital per coverage year back to top

Short Term Disability

This benefit applies to the associate only and includes :

Benefit period: Weekly benefits for up to six months while you are disabled

Benefit amount: 50 percent of base pay received from the employer (includes reported tips, but not overtime) up to a $125 maximum weekly benefit

Waiting period: Benefits begin after 14 days (plan pays immediately if hospitalized)

Term life and accidental death insurance

Benefits from this plan are paid to the beneficiary of your choice. This plan offers:

Accidental term life benefit: $20,000

Associate accidental death benefit: $20,000

Optional dependents' coverage: $2,500 in term life for dependents over six months of age; $500 for children from birth through six months of age.

Benefits are reduced by 50 percent when you reach age 70. back to top
