Passport Orientation

To help you get off to a great start with Compass Group, we offer an orientation and training program known as Passport. It will give you valuable information you'll need to begin your successful career with us.

Description

Passport has 10 modules — or Ports of Call — that help you learn who we are, what we do and how we act. The modules combine online learning with in-unit activities. Each Port of Call provides training on a different topic:

Port of Call 1 Your Great Start (English & Spanish) 40 minutes
Port of Call 2 Local Orientation 5 minutes +
in-unit activities
Port of Call 3 Learning Your Job 5 minutes +
in-unit activities
Port of Call 4 The Compass Way 30 minutes
Port of Call 5 Embracing Diversity 25 minutes
Port of Call 6 Harassment and Workplace Rules 23 minutes
Port of Call 7 Food Safety and Sanitation 60 minutes +
in-unit activities
Port of Call 8 Living Well 49 minutes
Port of Call 9 Workplace Safety 40 minutes +
in-unit activities
Port of Call 10 Cross Training/Additional Skills 7 minutes +
in-unit activities

Schedule

Each module (Port of Call) is available online, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

First week of hire: Complete Ports of Call modules 1, 2, 3, 7 and 9 within your first week of hire.

Weeks 2–52: You have approximately a year to complete the Passport training. Practice what you have learned before moving on to another module.back to top
