Developing Dynamic Leadership (DDL)

Format Classroom
Time Two full-day sessions a month for three consecutive months

This course focuses on the essential leadership skills new and up-and-coming managers require. Topics include: the role of a leader, benchmarks of team excellence, improving associate engagement, the art of effective meetings, delivering powerful communications and negotiating with style.

DiSC (Dimensions of Behavior)

Time Half-day (classroom session) or online

To improve communication and performance, the DiSC process helps you better understand yourself and others in the workplace. You will learn how to identify personal behavior profiles, how to capitalize on an individual's strengths and how to use the Communication Action Planning Process.

Understand and develop the skills you need to foster inclusive, high-performing teams. This program will take your understanding of diversity to a new level - from awareness to action. In addition to the classroom session, you will participate in a Coaching-on-Demand Webinar and learn how to conduct staff training meetings.

MIT: Manager in Training Program

Eligibility By nomination only

This program focuses on management development to prepare fast-tracked associates to assume leadership positions. Each delegate receives a mentor who assists with learning sector-specific management approaches.

Advanced Development and Planning Transition (A.D.A.P.T.)

Format Blended learning using classroom and self-directed learning
Time Six to eight months
Eligibility By nomination only

This leadership development and certification program prepares associates to successfully take on a multi-unit management role. Topics include managing regional finances, overseeing operational performance, managing account contracts, HR and administrative activities and an action-learning project.
