Vision Benefits

At Compass Group, we want you to take care of your vision and overall eye-care. We offer two plan options, which are administered by Vision Service Plan (VSP).

As the nation's largest provider of eye-care benefits, VSP has a network of more than 20,000 providers in rural and metropolitan locations. When you use VSP preferred network providers, your coverage is greater and you do not have to submit claim forms.

Open access is available for out-of-network providers, but the benefits are limited.

Comprehensive Plan

With the comprehensive plan, you are eligible for the following:

Once every calendar year:

• An eye exam covered at 100 percent
• Lenses (single, bifocal, trifocal), covered in full after a $15 copay
• A contact lens exam at a 15 percent discount
• Contact lenses* for up to $140

Once every other calendar year:

• Frames for up to $140, with a 20 percent discount on amounts over $140

* If you purchase contact lenses with this benefit, they count as a complete set of glasses/frames. back to top

Exam Plus Plan

This plan offers limited services and coverage. You are eligible for the following benefits:

• An eye exam covered at 100 percent, once every calendar year
• Lenses and frames purchased from a network preferred provider at a 20 percent discount
• A contact lens exam from a network preferred provider at a 15 percent discount
• Contact lenses are not covered under this plan
