At Trinity College, we are known for our three "P"s: planning, preparation and performance. Nothing, I mean absolutely zilch, becomes reality until we have talked about it, determined a cost, sampled it…. So, when the spark of spontaneity flashed at our location, don't you have to take notice?
Welcome to our walking club, a group of three managers who have bonded through the goal of improving our health while at work. The Post Office has nothing on us; rain, sleet, snow, or the threat of cold weather has not stopped us yet. We meet at a time determined by our daily schedules and walk outside. The route is decided at each intersection.
We are all shapes, sizes and ages—so if competition or training is your goal, walk with someone else. It's that simple! Although the pace is comfortable at best, it is the good company and conversation that constantly motivate us.
Each of us has our own demons to slay: weight loss, stress management, recovering from surgery or just breaking monotony. The tools offered by Compass assisted us in identifying the areas we should focus on. They provide REAL solutions to REAL issues. Our clear motivating factor for walking aligns with the wellness tips and suggestions: we just want to feel…BETTER.
