Morrison Healthcare’s Tim Pierce Named Highest Rated CEO on Glassdoor

July 05, 2017

Thanks to the Morrison Healthcare family, our CEO Tim Pierce was named one of the Highest Rated CEOs on Glassdoor, according to the company’s most recent report. Glassdoor®, one of the world’s largest and fastest growing job sites, released its annual report highlighting the Highest Rated CEOs in several countries throughout North America and Europe.

Tim appears on the Large U.S. list with an impressive Glassdoor rating, due in part to recent efforts he and all company associates have made around creating an engaged and inclusive culture.

“We’re very grateful for the hospitals allowing us to serve and the caring environment they provide to patients each day,” says Tim. “We also have the best people. Our culture would not be the same without their hard work and caring spirit. The Morrison family has built a brand we all can be proud of, and I’m honored that 90% of our associates would recommend joining our company to a friend. We are dedicated to recognizing great performance, and the spirit of collaboration to create a work environment our associates love.”

Morrison’s people-first approach reflects our vision of great people, great service and great results. We know part of keeping great people is recognizing their efforts. Our associates’ contributions are acknowledged through three different formal recognition programs, Be-A-Star, GEM, and Milestones. Each program is designed to empower managers with the platform that best fits their needs for championing associates who go above and beyond. Tim says, “It’s a privilege to learn about the passion and care our people bring to the table.”

In addition to recognizing outstanding work, Morrison has taken strides to ensure the diversity of all employees is honored. Inclusion Day, an annual celebration and contemplation around inclusion is just one way we demonstrate our commitment to appreciating and uniting around our differences. We believe inclusive work environments promote health, enjoyment and productivity.

CEO approval ratings are gathered through Glassdoor’s online company review survey, which gathers current and former employee sentiment about job and company satisfaction, the work environment and the culture. Employees are asked to rate a number of workplace factors like compensation and benefits as well as work-life balance, and asked whether they approve, disapprove or are neutral about the job their CEO is doing. In addition, employees are asked to describe some of the upsides and downsides of working for the company and provide any advice for senior management.
