The Health Risk Assessment (HRA), a free, confidential online health and lifestyle questionnaire designed to help you maintain and improve your health, is administered through INTERVENT. Upon completion of the HRA, you will receive a personalized health profile that highlights your healthy habits and suggest lifestyle changes to improve your health.

Lifestyle Health Coaching

After you have completed your Health Risk Assessment, it’s time to take another important step toward a healthier lifestyle. Whether you want to lose weight and keep it off, exercise more, eat better or reduce stress, Compass Group’s health and wellness partner, INTERVENT, has an expert online to help you at no cost.

Enroll in INTERVENT’s lifestyle health coaching program and you’ll be paired with a health professional who’ll work with you via confidential phone sessions. Coaching is available for healthy eating, managing weight, increasing physical activity, managing stress, sleeping better and quitting tobacco.

Employee Assistance Program

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Work/Life Program is designed to help you lead a happier and more productive life at home and at work.

Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), administered by Health Advocate, offers assistance with stress, depression, marital and family issues, legal concerns, financial issues and more.

The Healthcare Help feature provides personalized assistance to help you and your family navigate the complexities of the healthcare system. A Personal Health Advocate can help you with a full range of healthcare and insurance-related issues to save you time, money and worry. Health Advocate can assist you by finding the right medical providers, scheduling appointments, correct billing errors, locating eldercare services and more.

In partnership with INTERVENT, the Livongo for Diabetes program combines the latest technology with coaching from a Certified Diabetes Educator—empowering people with diabetes to make better decisions. All associates, and their covered dependents, who are enrolled in a Compass Group PPO medical plan and diagnosed with type 1 or type 2 diabetes are eligible.

The Livongo connected meter uses cellular technology to automatically upload blood glucose readings to a private account, making them accessible at any time. Stay healthy with regular health checkups. Compass Group wants you to schedule annual physical exams, pap tests, mammograms, prostate screenings and routine dental and eye exams.

Preventive care is covered at 100% in Compass Group’s medical, dental and vision plans. In order to be covered, the care must meet nationally recognized preventive care guidelines such as minimum age and frequency rules.

Compass Group encourages you to make time for annual exams and screenings.

Compass Group gives full-time associates up to three hours of paid time off from work for an annual exam and any other appropriate screenings.

This paid time off cannot be used for preventive care for dependents.

To qualify for this paid time off, you must be a full-time, nonexempt Management or Professional associate, or a nonunion Team Member associate, be enrolled in a Compass Group medical, dental or vision plan and have been employed by Compass Group for at least one year.
